President's welcome message
Dear CAPA Members and Friends:
I want to welcome you to visit this website that is the gateway to the Chinese American Pathologists Association (CAPA). CAPA is the voice of the Chinese American pathologists practicing in US and Canada, pathologists in training as well as investigators in biomedical research.
The organization was originally founded as Hua Tuo Society of Pathology (HTSP, 华佗病理学会) in March, 2003, in Washington, D.C., and the name was changed to the current one in February, 2006, in Atlanta. Since its founding, CAPA has strived to accomplish its mission, ie, to improve educational opportunities and professional skills of practicing pathologists of Chinese ethnicity, by promoting communication, friendship and cultural exchange, and by advancing the science and practice of pathology and laboratory medicine.

Dear CAPA Friends:
Happy 2010! CAPA is in her 8th year, and my gratitude goes to each one of you for your support to our society over the years.
We are in the process of organizing the 8th CAPA Annual Reception in conjunction with USCAP meeting in Washington, DC on Saturday, March 20. More information will be coming to you soon. Please check your E-mail in the coming weeks for details.

The organization was originally founded as Hua Tuo Society of Pathology (HTSP) in March, 2003, in Washington, D.C., during annual meeting of the United States and CanadianAcademy of Pathology. The name was changed to Chinese American Pathologists Association (CAPA) in February, 2006, in Atlanda.
